RIVER FLOAT 2025

WHEN:

  • 10am, Saturday, July 19 (26th if rained out)

WHERE:

  • Meet at 731B Hwy 552 West. (watch for the Jeff’s RV sign)

    • Cars can be left there

    • Compressor to blow up floaties 

  • At 11 (ish) carpool to starting point at:  

    • The Hwy 17 Goulais Bridge 

    • Located just south of the LCBO/Timber Land Store at: 3030 ON-17

WHERE WE END:

  • Beach located at 731B Hwy 552 West

DETAILS:

  • ​Float, board, kayak, canoe down the Goulais

  • Float will last approximately 3-4 hours from starting location 

(This year we will have a motorized floater to pull us through the low areas)

  • The large beach where we land will have food ready! 

(pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ hotdogs/sausages, snacks, & salads) 

  • There will be coolers w/ice for you drinks

  • Chairs to relax (sunny and shady options)

  • Games (volleyball/cornhole/etc.) & a bonfire (if no restrictions)

  • Tents welcome if anyone wishes to stay the night (morning=coffee/eggs)

  • Anyone not floating, who wants to join by road, can find the beach at 731B Hwy 552 West (watch for the Jeff’s RV sign) and follow the “beach markers” from there to the beach

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Something to float on, snaaackss for the float, drinks, sunscreen, towels, you, and your peeps! A tent if you wish to stay.

  • *Kids of all ages welcome
